Start Popping. In Popping, each post (aka a ping), is associated with a physical place you could find on a map (we call these hubs). Quickly choose the hub you want to share to each time you create a ping. Post to the “Popping” hub when you want to share with the general Popping community rather than a specific place. Add photos, videos, polls and tag other users.

Let your thoughts live in the moment. Make any ping a “pop” by setting it to automatically disappear when you want. Pops can live up to 24 hours.

Scope out a scene before you go. Tap the compass icon to see a map of conversations and communities near you now. Join the conversation before you go and be part of the community even before you arrive.

Keep up with your favorite places. Stay connected to your important communities like your school, neighborhood, or gym, even when you’re away. Tap the star icon next to any hub name to add or remove it as a favorite.

See what’s trending. Keep up with the latest news, headlines and topics by viewing what’s trending straight from the home screen. Or search for a hashtag, key word or emoji to discover what others are talking about. Be part of news as it happens, locally and around the world.

Drop the anxiety. Forget finding the perfect picture or curated thought. Confidently share your casual or personal thoughts, feelings and experiences knowing you have a built-in relevant audience with your chosen hub every time you share. Popping keeps likes and follower counts private for only you to see, so you can keep your focus on the conversation and sharing real life.
